ADAPTIVE MARTIAL ARTS (AMA)

WHY MARTIAL ARTS ARE BEST FOR SPECIAL NEEDS

Guardian Traditional Martial Arts was founded in 2017 to serve the needs of students all over the South Jersey region. Since we opened our doors, our Martial Arts School has helped an impressive amount of students change the way they feel about learning. Our innovative teaching methods help students really latch onto the material, and take charge of their own learning.

It is no secret that martial arts is the perfect activity for people who have special needs, or physical/mental challenges. This is because our curriculum reinforces structure, routine, focus and discipline. Through creative exercises, drills, activities and teaching methodologies, in small class sizes, our adaptive students can develop a rapport with our certified instructors. They can engage at their pace and ability. And most of all, they can experience the benefits of exercise while strengthening their social, emotional and intellectual skills in a safe, accepting, and caring environment.
